Neal White is an artist and a member of the ‘Groundmakers’ that initiated The Soil Assembly at Kochi Biennale in 2023. His art has explored science, its sites and infrastructures through a wide range of media. His interest in eco-social art practices focuses on the situated nature of environmental knowledge, evolving in relation to connected multispecies worlds and crises. Projects include More than Sense and Perfect Nature, NL (2022-24) with Irish artist Tina O’Connell. Recent exhibitions include projects with Monsoon Assemblages and Office of Experiments at Venice Biennale of Architecture, Italy (2021), and An Atlas of Chronographic Things, with Deep Field Project at Kunsthalle Trondheim, Norway (2020). Neal White is Professor of Art / Science at University of Westminster, where he directs CREAM, Centre for Research / Education in Art & Media.
